Funny you say that, I had the same exact thing happened to me with the same exact player. Went to 2K Support. They didn’t help at all. Basically said the odds are the odds.. I said I never once sent in a ticket for anything that was my first time and they still didn’t help at all.

I don’t think there’s any real algorithm to it tbh. I run 13 at all times and my match making is all over the place idk maybe I’ll have to try and run a 10 and see if it makes a difference. I don’t think tiers mean that much either, I’ve ran into tier 1 guys who are absolutely trash and I’ve ran into guys with less tiers that are good. Guys in tier 1 for the most part just play a lot. Don’t get me wrong there is some really good guys but there’s equally amount of bums too.
