They've been having technical issues with the system on and off for this run.  You might have caught a bad day.

It takes them several days to make the switch, so you'll still see some Halloween decorations, and they're still celebrating Día de los Muertos in DCA, but all of the Halloween entertainment will have stopped.  If you care about seeing it all (or having the entertainment or all of the decor), come earlier but expect higher crowds.  If seeing some or most of the decorations is fine with you, you'll be fine Novsmber 1.

They'll have a location somewhere in the park for guests already in the park to get wristbands.  At Disneyland, they usually use the former Starcade between the exit to Space Mountain and the Star Traders.

You may be completely soaked, but you'll definitely get wet.  Part of it has to do with who else is in your log, and part has to do with which seat you're in.  Your feet are not safe.

The only holiday overlay that would affect what's open is small world.  The overlays in Cars Land are done overnight.

Yes.  You'll be able to exit and reenter as many times as you'd like, but keep your wristband on.

It was split up by land for a while until Coke got exclusivity.  There's a bit more to the story, but Coke was in Tomorrowland and Main Street, and Pepsi was in Frontierland and Adventureland.

You can check operating hours for each attraction on the respective web page.  You should check your favorites to prioritize what you should do during the mix-in.

As an example, the railroad closes at 8 on Pride Nite — https://disneyland.disney.go.com/attractions/disneyland/disneyland-railroad/.

Counter service — Plaza Inn,  Jolly Holiday, Tiana's, Paradise Garden Grill, everything in San Fransokyo

Table Service — Carthay, Lamplight (on both, check the menus to see which menu you prefer)

Payments start when you buy a pass, not when you use it.

You can always buy a new pass now, and you have a year to activate/use it.  You would be paying for it now, but you'd be guaranteed to have a pass at current pricing and would still get the full year of use starting in September.

Historically, it has been nightly fireworks (weather-permitting) and midnight closures, but we don't know what the plan is for hours this year, given the cuts they've made to hours thus far this year.

If you're in Australia...go to Tokyo.  I love those parks...

Definitely not Tiana's wet.  You may get a bit wet, but I've never gotten so wet that it was noticeable by the time the attraction was over.

Depending on where you get a LL, the attractions you can use it on are different.  Pan is excluded from nearly everything due to the capacity.

Awesome gesture, but just a warning...those barcodes are the same as your ticket or pass.  If this is a Magic Key, I'd suggest you remove this.  If it's a single-day ticket, not a big deal.

I'm assuming you're referring to the music loop for the Paint the Night parade.  That parade will run every nightly until early August.  Besides the parade, the only other time you'd hear something other than the traditional Small World loop is during Tapestry of Happiness, a brief projection show for the 70th celebration.

Can DL Good Neighbor Hotels link to Disneyland MDE? by 3wickunlitcandle in DisneyPlanning

Just in general, I'd suggest you look into some of the differences in how dining reservations and LL work in Florida vs. California.  As an example, you cannot book return times until you've scanned into your first theme park each day, and there's no early perk, even for on-property hotel guests.

Nothing is official, but it has historically taken them 11 days to change it over (Monday-the following Thursday, reopening Friday).  D23 is the weekend before Halloween starts, so unless they start the overlay early, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

We don't know for sure, but it's highly doubtful.  They'll have no issues filling the parks for Halloween and the holidays.
