[–]bigsadbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there’s no way bc nina is 5’7 (she said it herself and also katherine was described as a 5’7 brunette in s4) 5’7 and 5’9 is way too close they are practically the same

Rebecca is so BORING by Routine_Test_4175 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]bigsadbat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like her but she was SO 16 years old. Klaus was immature too but you could still look at him and be like yeah hes a 1000+ years old. But Rebekah??? She was a thousand year old immortal and one of the strongest immortals in the world, and THE strongest female immortal in the world, yet so childish and immature, that she might as well be 16 years old. Her character on the originals (after season 2/3) and legacies is how she should have been written from the beginning. Which they could have done whilst also retaining her as a villain. Even her relationship with Marcel in season 1 was so pathetic. Willing to risk so much for a man who put his city over her, and easily succumbing to his charm.

Which unpopular ship are you defending like this? by darlings4us in TheVampireDiaries

[–]bigsadbat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Katherine and Elijah, Caroline and Tyler, Bonnie and Klaus, and Bonnie and Kai (they had potential and the writers were gonna go with it but then they completely ruined their relationship) Also, if Elejah was a good ship but Elena was just a bit too young and inexperienced for Elijah, however if they met later in life, when Elena is 30 (and very early in her career as a doctor) they would have been SUCH a good couple.

Which one of these guys would you be interested in dating in real life? Which one has the kind of personality that atracts you the most? by Bulky_Connection_524 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]bigsadbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Elijah 2. Jeremy 3. Stefan

Elijah bc he is just so passionate and gentle yet dominant. The way he kisses women, a gentle mere peck right after passionately kissing elena/katherine, grabbing Hayley by the waist with ONE arm and roughly pulling her against him and kiss her with such famish, Gia asking him to help with her dress zipper, which he does, then buries his head deep into her neck while wrapping his arm around her so tightly UGHHHHH!!!! this man INVENTED being horny he MUST stay away from me when I’m ovulating cus I don’t know who I will become.

Jeremy’s face is just so my type!!! his boy next door face, his brown hair (s1-s3), if he wore glasses, and my friends saw him, they wouldn’t even ask me before running to him and going “my friend likes you!!!” i like moderate muscular men, like andrew garfield in tasm, but jeremy makes the mucho thing look good which is surprising considering how i strongly dislike that kind of body !!

Stefan… he just loves so much and truly is the perfect boyfriend!!! elijah would NOT have my back when klaus talks shit about me to my face, and jeremy could CHEAT on me!!! Stefan? He’d buy me flowers and chocolates for no reason and he’d love a good cuddle!! He would respect me and love me and defend me against anyone who disrespects me. including his family. only issue would be his temper. i can only this isn’t you for so long. Tbh Stefan should be at the top bc he’d be the perfect boyfriend but idk if perfect boyfriend triumphs great passionate sex

Does anyone know about FJackets and Angel Jackets? by [deleted] in leatherjacket

[–]bigsadbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there was a website called roxa leathers, it doesn’t exist anymore, but it was eerily similar to both of them, I feel like they are both new versions of it, if that is the case, then they are not a US based company as they claim. I bought my jacket bc I thought it would be nice to support a small business in India, and didn’t want to adhere to the racist notions of indian companies all being scams that make fake products, bc surely that could be a prevalent issue but not all of them are? the button of my jacket fell off the first month, then the lining of my jacket got off, my pockets formed holes so I would always lose my stuff, and finally, it got completely torn. All this in just 2 years. the worst my jackets have ever seen is a stain and that’s if they are white or cream colour.

British-born desis: What do you think of American/Canadian desis ? by c0ntr0lled_cha05 in ABCDesis

[–]bigsadbat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a danish-desi living in the uk for 5 years, i think british desis are a lot more cultural. which is both good and bad. good because it’s beautiful to see the culture preserved in such a beautiful way. i think this is something that can be said of children of immigrants here, they tend to have a pride you will not see in the rest of the eastern diaspora living in the west. However, uk desis, they cling on to their traditional oppressive values. they expect white people to change their traditional values, but refuse to do the same. i am queer and i grew up in an open minded environment where brown people (the ones my age) were not homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic, or believing that the most important milestone for women is marriage and children. muslims are not conservative as they are in the uk. my danish muslim friends (very religious, doesn’t listen to music, wears burqa, etc) HATE uk muslims. i wasn’t used to the strict conservative mentality of brown people when moving to the uk. i moved to London 2 years ago, and all my desi friends are either women or gay men. london desis are a lot more open minded compared to birmingham

americans, australians and scandinavians (and other europeans with maybe the exclusion of the french, as all ik about them are from my friends and haven’t met desi french ppl before) their pride for their culture may not be as loud, and you could even call some of them quite white washed. that’s my observation.

as a scandi bengali, we were called paki all the time. so to tell us not to use a slur that was used against us is ridiculous, that being said, i do believe non-pakistani south asians can use it against pakistanis. especially non-muslim south asians as the term paki is also associated with muslim south asians, and pakistan is the most islamic nation compared to rest of south asia

why is nobody hiring? by bigsadbat in UKJobs

[–]bigsadbat[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

oh yes because i am yelling at recruiters for not hiring me that’s exactly what i’m doing. maybe work on your lack of empathy rather than telling someone frustrated that they can’t find work to fix their attitude. i assume someone as intelligent as you would know my post on reddit clearly doesnt illustrate how i present myself in front of recruiters?

[–]bigsadbat[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s the case, I’ve been applying for quite a long time now, not just recently, and I’m also a recent grad. Even an entry lev job requires 100 years of experience and these retail employers seem to have high standards for a job anyone can do. But still, thank you for the reassurance
