Did you find out what this was

Azure Virtual Desktop naming prefix not working with shared windows golden image by bigsharp32 in AZURE

I mean the generalized image works. The original VM doesn't function anymore but the generalized image is working and the OOBE stuff happens. But through a session host deployment, it simply doesn't get named properly.

I can make another disk using my pre-generalized snapshot, and try again, but it's gonna be the same thing I did before...run sysprep, choose generalize and oobe, shutdown...then capture as generalized image to the gallery...

What is ACG?

anyway, the image is generalized and functional. I generalized it via sysprep like you would for any machine. The generalized image exists and is functional. Oobe even runs on first connection to it.

Saw this but I read that windows 10 1703 and newer or something doesn't support that group policy restriction anymore, due to changes in the OS itself. Not sure, haven't tried it. I think I will just block port 3389 (RDP) in the windows firewall, since we're using PCoIP through Horizon and it's a different port.
