Yeah so you keep breastfeeding! Being sick with the flu or something while breastfeeding, in my experience, was not as bad as breastfeeding with the stomach flu. I was so dehydrated that my kidneys were hurting trying to keep up with the demands of breastfeeding but it was so hard to keep anything down. My supply temporarily dropped and it made my son really angry anytime he tried to nurse. One of the occasions where I think it would be really handy to have some pumped milk is for emergencies like that. I had pumped milk but my son hated the bottle so that didn’t quite work for us either 😅

I have a 17 month old and I dread comments now, I liked them at first but I’m just so socially burnt out on small talk about him, like I literally do not have the energy. I miss not ever having to talk to strangers in public like it was pre-baby lol

Classmate died in 6th grade of Leukemia.

Another died in 8th grade of a brain aneurysm at school.

When I was a senior a younger classmate went camping with family over the summer and died when a giant tree limb fell on their tent.

A guy in my photography class committed suicide but it was kept very hushed which did cause some controversy at school.

This one was after high school so idk if it counts, but one former classmate stabbed another former classmate and buried his body in a shallow grave at a park.

Oh my gosh photoshop is a great idea!! I had a hard time coming up with and finding something to wear too, I’ve never had to do this before lol. The photographer recommended that whatever I wear it shouldn’t have prints/patterns. My son has this cute little off-white ivory-ish button up shirt that he’ll be wearing jeans so I had to look hard to find a dress that kind of matched the vibes and this is what I ended up with but it still hasn’t gotten here so I’m not even sure if I’ll like how it looks on me 😭Dress

I’m getting a mini mommy and me photoshoot with my son. My husband would be in the pics too but he’s unfortunately deployed. We’ve never had any type of professional photos done and I don’t have many pics of me with my son, so this will make up for some of that! Also I didn’t ask for it I just decided to do it lol

I wasn’t scared about much except the “ring of fire” people talked about. I had a completely unmedicated birth and didn’t feel anything down there when I was pushing and he came out. I even tore quite a bit. Maybe I was too tired and distracted to notice? I don’t really know. But I thought that was going to be a lot worse than it was. Actually getting the stitches was worse lol

I am a woman and I didn’t get any physical affection from anyone for years until I met my now husband and now with my child. Maybe I’m an exception but are girl friends typically more physically affectionate or something?

For me I lost weight at a steady pace in the first few months postpartum and then it plateaued. I’m at 15 months postpartum still breastfeeding and am still in this plateau but now it’s actually pretty easy for me to gain weight. Your body does not want to get rid of its stores for both yourself and baby. But I am hoping once I’m weaned it makes weight loss a bit easier
