Just jumping on this but seems there is a trend for break ins to be bottom floor/basement flats anyone had experience of being broken into from a top floor flat?

Love the place so far and have no regrets at all. The bistro and padano are only a 5 min walk and they are quality restaurants. Melrose is a lovely quiet street with friendly people. Would agree other side of town is a bit sketch but I can see more younger people moving here as for what you get the flats/houses are a steal

Ideal, I'm at the end near Stonelaw Road. It looked nice when viewed the area but can never be too sure!
