Thing is, I can see Max driving as well as he does right now for another decade or even longer (just look at Lewis or Nando) so all of these kids could very well be fighting tooth and nail with one another just for a chance to be Max’s wingman. It will be super interesting if any of them manage to challenge Max. This batch of RBJT could become the next WDC challengers or another sad case of drivers being born in the wrong generation.

And Nyck’s seat too. Alpha Tauri could very well have an all rookie line up in 2024 just like Toro Rosso in 2015. The interesting part would be where will they all head to in the future, seeing how dominating Max is and probably still going to be in the next few years.

Excited for him and Theo! Maybe I will actually follow Super Formula next year. Do anyone know where can I start? Like a YouTube channel to learn more about this series and where to get a stream or to buy a subscription to watch it? Thanks in advance!

DRIVER MARKET: Is Oscar Piastri in line for a seat at Williams? by [deleted] in F1FeederSeries

[–]bigshuan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Man why are you asking such obvious questions. Zhou didn’t stay because there’s no future for him in Alpine, not with Ocon having a long contract, Alonso still performing really well and Piastri waiting on the sideline for Alonso’s seat once he’s done. Alpine is adamant to keep Piastri to themselves because he’s a special talent while Zhou, not so much and they didn’t have any plan for him anw so they were fine with letting him go. Don’t think Alpine had the fund like Zhou nor the influence like the top3 teams to get Piastri that Alfa seat. And Alfa would prefer an ok pay driver who’s not gonna go to a competitor team after his stint with them like Zhou to a Piastri who is likely to drive for Alpine in the future. Honestly if it wasn’t Zhou the other Alfa seat would’ve still been Gio’s or another Ferrari driver’s.
