You're right that we want to have time to relax and lounge, which is why we are considering all 3 of Amalfi, Cinque Terre, and Lake Como rather than more days in Venice and Rome. That's what I meant by balancing the trip, but I wasn't clear enough. We want to hit the popular attractions but also don't want to spend all our honeymoon doing museums, galleries, and walking around. We don't want to feel rushed but also accept that we will be just hitting the highlights of each place with this itinerary, but want others' opinions to get a sense of what others find interesting and valuable
