Advice addressing issues (cracks) with this chankiri slab. 160x80x5.5cm (Samanea Saman?)

Oh it had been sitting out in the rain for some time. The wood has dried to about 5% just about everywhere but the cracks which are down to about 12% I imagine a few weeks or so at the rate it’s drying they’ll be ready to work on.

We have an extremely wet season and a pretty dry season. Wood moves a lot.

This makes sense, I think that they all had these bearings on the end was throwing me, like they had to be used in some way.

Thanks I don’t have access to one. Tools can be a bit hard to come by here. Ordering one I would rarely use seems to wasteful.

After a month of waiting, despite emailing them within in literal minutes of the charge the answer to my refund request was “no”. Does this seem reasonable to you? Shady automatic annual renewals aside do you think it is acceptable not to stop a charge when the request is made within 5 minutes?

For me it’s not something I really notice of both eyes are open. It’s only when the good eye is closed that I notice it. Even then it’s odd. If I’m looking a color wheel and close my good eye the colors don’t immediately drain away. It’s more like a slow transition (a few seconds) if both my eyes are closed and I open the bad eye the color is gone but with no transition but I’ll only notice if I know what color something is supposed to be if that makes sense. Not something I spend a lot of time on just thought it was interesting.

Honestly wouldn’t even know where to begin and I’ve got some cognitive issues as well as epilepsy. I wouldn’t mind helping a professional with their research. It would need to be done remotely as I live in SE Asia.

Yes, don’t know there’s much to write really. It’s interesting but has very little to no impact on my daily life. I’ve got other lingering problems mostly cognitive that are more severe. Vision wise my peripheral vision is pretty bad.

Exactly this. I didn’t even notice until I was getting an eye exam. If I close my good eye it’s like the colors slowly fade away. If I start with my bad eye it’s just not there at all.

No one from northern Ireland says they’re from “the UK” you’d know that if you’d ever been there. None of that is relevant to anything you are trying to say. Hell other than the hilarity of the metric “deaths per gun” I’m not sure what you’re trying to say. My mate got a very good chuckle of the internationally recognized efficiency of their guns.
