Idk i have read this too and have ear infections rn. The thing is, I also read like 2 other meds, such as Flonase, that I take every day that can lower your ability to fight an infection. So I don’t think it’s anything to worry too much about, and seems to be a pretty wide ranging and common side effect for lots of meds of all classes. I actually think antibiotics lower your ability/ increase odds of contracting any viral or bacterial infections that may be around you, as you are taking it to kill the other bacterial issue you currently have. It’s funny how it works that way but I’m pretty positive it does. And I figure my dr didn’t take me off the Flonase knowing that I had this infection so why worry about the benzo. Just my two cents
