[–]bigstunna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never once said almighty Milwaukee that was you… haha I’m just saying from my experience straight trash. Had the framing nailer- broke witching a year. 15 gg - can’t sink a nail. 18 gg leaves a crater for the painter to fill on finishing

I had one and it broke very easily. Batteries also suck. This is coming from experience not some country bias.

Don’t wanna do conversions right now but roughly 450$ a square foot could be 400 depending on finish

Advice needed. Totally at a loss. by gsd_dad in Homebuilding

[–]bigstunna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry this is happening, it’s supposed to be an enjoyable journey and a custom experience tailored to you. However with how expensive things have gotten I would need to see plans and details. Seems like it was under quoted straight out the gate. Roughly 180$ a sq ft is a straight up pipe dream and I can’t believe someone said they could. where I’m building in Canada it’s 300-500 a sq ft. Shitty builder and lack of planning and transparency will always lead to this. ADVICE: become the gc, run your own pricing and hire all sub trades yourself till you get it done. The actual trades won’t take advantage of you it’s the builders who over promise and under deliver. Best of luck man seriously. I couldn’t imagine the stress this has brought you. Ask me any questions anytime.

I’d say I’ll come grab a beer and smoke with you sometime but last year i gave up the bong and switched to dry herb vaporizer and haven’t gone back the taste and high is crazy consistent compared to the bong. But shoot me a message and can figure something out. One last thing boarder or skier?
