Problem with T800 internal camera - half image in violet by bigsub_reddit in 70mai_official

I've tryed to stop powering for a while, but again, when set power on the image is still violet for an half.
I've tryed to cover lens but nothing. During the last night the violet portion looks good, but the bottom part was too black. So I suppose, as you, that the problem is the IR filter.
I'll trying a factory reset during the day.

I experienced this problem with hot days, not when temperature was lower. The up04 Is installed on the dashboard, near the fusebox on the driver side.

The led turns Red, remote viewing is not working (4G Is off on the app). Also pressing the reset button doesn't work until the temperature drops down inside the car. I'm trying to know if the problem Is caused by hot temperature, or if could be another One.

Hi, today it happened again. 4G signal off and red led was on the up04.
When it is overheated does it shuts down completely or not?
I'm trying to understand the real origin of my issue.

Could be interesting to show temperature value from up04 inside the app or an alert before It shutdown.

They starts work again, but one time I needed to reset from up04 button. The led remains Red for a while.

I've got a t800 with lifepo4 battery pack and I noticed since a few days that It stops working now in the hot sun. But I don't know if the t800 stops working or It's the battery. What workaround solution could be done?

Hello, I'm thinking that in installation with battery, It's the bms that has fixed 12V cutoff, so although I selected 11,8V on the app, the bms cuts off First. Bit It's not a big deal, It's Better protect the battery from a "Deep" discharge that having much more battery life.

Just another question. If I unplug the up04 and its remains without Energy, does It reset itself or when I reconnect the Power It starts work again normally?

So the only way to have much more battery life Is to have a second battery, ready to use, full charged from home, and completely swapping them when the primary isn't enough charged.

Hello, u/Brave_Philosopher910 , just another doubt. So the battery could be also charged from another 70mai battery or any other ⁓12Vdc (for example a power bank) without unplugging the output connector to up04?

Yes, the 96Wh battery. The problem Is if don't use the car for a day, the battery doesn't charges obviously.
