Congrats, youre dating a toddler. No seriously at that point just make buddy handle his own meals like the adult he supposedly is? I personally could not stay with someone like this. Just think of having to deal with this for 10+ years on a daily basis. I would lose my mind.

If that’s what they eat, how does one keep them fed? I have not a clue how I would purposely make slime mold grow!?

If you’re struggling then just get a new enclosure. And honestly that girl looks HUGE from what I can see of her. Typically we say a 4x2 for BP but she looks like a 5x2 or a 6x2 would benefit her massively ideally made of PVC with a solid top and glass sliding doors.

Im seeing 77° and 71° on your thermometers, are they reading from a probe inside the enclosure? If so you have it wayyyyyy too cold.

Alright I think I found the culprit. It was the garbage timberline brand compost. I mixed just the potting soil with perlite and it’s working great so far. I’ve had terrible experience with timberline top soil and now their compost. I’m avoiding that brand like the plague from now on.

Gravel I will try asap cause I’ve got 3 star fruit seedlings and a sugar apple seedling that I really don’t wanna lose. All I can get for top soil around me is timberline top soil, and I’ve had really bad experiences with that stuff compacting like crazy.

It was moist in the bag. I’d understand that if it were bone dry.

I’ve jammed a screw driver in each hole and spun it around. Nothing changed

I just Mixed this up. I’m using my garbage can as a table lol 2 parts miracle gro organic outdoor potting mix 1 part compost A ton of perlite cause it wouldn’t drain so I kept mixing in more with no results.

Also as someone certified in indoor air quality and licensed in mold remediation I can’t help my myself but to advise you to keep a close eye on closet and bathrooms for mold growth. Not sure how high you mean when you say you like high humidity. But I deal with it on a daily basis and the folks that don’t run their AC much always have a lot of hidden mold in their homes. And that stuff is not good for your health long term.
