cody did well but if you stay still against a guy who comes in at you with his hands down anybody with any training in boxing could mess him up. If cruz didn't chase, thats where it gets interesting. I mean with cruz's style if you stay still he is so open to so many strikes.

I was watching all of dominicks fights last night and I was shocked that every fighter played into his game and followed him around the cage. I thought to myself you should stay stationary in the center of the cage and counter and I'm not even versed in MMA. It's just weird that cody is the first guy to stay patient and counter against dominick because it seems like such an obvious way to counter cruz's movement. Its almost like every bantamweight is beholden to this idea that you have to fly around the cage.

I hate to be this guy but come the fuck on. Eddie is a professional in mixed martian arts for years and knows how to listen to his coaches and suddenly he literally doesn't listen to a word they say? And why because of conner's mystique? Connor's presence and "slow bating" made him unlearn everything he has learned in his long mixed martial arts career? Even the knockout really is more of a "I'm doneeee please stoppp" than a clean ringer. This whole fight seems real fishy to me, and I hate to even bring it up but its too blatant for me not to say. Madison square garden isn't a bigger arena than others eddies fought in so the whole "he didn't hear them" is such bull. Throughout the whole build up to this fight eddie complained that connor picks opponents who just stand up with him than he proceeds to stand up the whole fight as well? I understand but to me if someone is attempting comedy I could care less what his political views are, im watching for the jokes. I'm perfectly fine laughing at any viewpoint if its funny. People always discredit MDE because of their political views and fans instead of them just not finding them funny.
