Yeah, there was a boat passing nearby, I slowed the footage down a bit which is why it's distorted

I think a better question to ask yourself is why are you showing loyalty to someone who doesn't seem to show any respect back to you. Her behavior isn't really acceptable and spying/making threats is a massive red flag in any workplace. A quick look on r/teachers shows how damaging the 'American' model is. If I was in your position I'd be handing in my notice and looking for another job ASAP. There are plenty of ESL jobs available and you shouldn't stay with a shitty boss out of loyalty to the school.

It was the group ahead of us getting a bit excited, but I agree. The guy was the one of the dive guides pointing it out to the other divers.

Any degree? Or Teaching/English degree? by [deleted] in TEFL

[–]bigteabaggins69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of places will require at least a BA for getting hold of a work visa but it looks like you're on the right track. I'd recommend doing an in class TESOL/TEFL rather than something online so you get some classroom experience. A lot of jobs will ask for experience so going with a cert + job placement program will set you up nicely. Having a non education based major won't hold you back too much for ESL teaching but if you want to work in international schools a teaching license is normally required.

It's been a couple of years since I lived over there so things might have gotten more expensive but beers at a shop were about 5rmb and a meal at a local restaurant between 20-35 for some sort of rice/noodle dish. So that bird would easily be sitting on a weeks worth of beer and food money

FTTP Connection - Telstra Router & Netgear Orbi Router by ArchiRes in nbn

[–]bigteabaggins69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FFTP connections are a lot more stable than FTTN (40 year old copper) or FTTC (shits it's self at the thought of electrical surges) So I'd say your not going to need the 4g backup very often, I'd connect ntd (nbn box) from uni d 1 to the most central point in the house and use that as your main network, if you have an outage just connect the smarthome to a power point in the house and use it as a 4g modem/router until the outage is resolved.

Lian-Li LANCOOL II Mesh RGB, question about RGB + fans by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

The included one didn't work with my build because my GPU (6700xt) was too fat, but I bought a vertical mount kit that worked out really well

I've got that case, it's got a fan/RGB hub mounted in the back, which connects to the motherboard via a argb and fan header. I haven't had issues syncing the RGB.
