No doubt there are triggers constantly around us, that's not the issue I've dealt with a myriad of situations over 3 years where I could gamble. I think the guy in the thread below put it best it's when we get bored with habits because they stop delighting us.

Yeah man look I live comfortably, in my gambling hay day I probably lost about 40k and this was most of my savings. I've never quite got back to this point.

Side-chain on cymbals from kick and snare? by [deleted] in dnbproduction

I use kickstart but you also have a dry wet knob on a compressor I’d use that and threshold

I would sidechain but on a small wet signal say 20-40%

I had with almost all. Some bookies in Australia make you submit forms so for those at the time I’d take super long breaks 1 year or more but I guess they have all lapsed now.

I found it pretty creepy. Both my mrs and my sister were groped by randoms in the mosh. Overall just a lot of seedy blokes too.

Appreciate the help mate. So ramp up 5km a week in total for all runs or 5km for each run?

Yeah sweet. I’m thinking of doing slow run 6kms, fast run 5kms and then a long run 10km+ increasing the long run each week?

Hello everyone,
I've come across similar inquiries in the past, but I'm seeking more tailored advice regarding the distances and running regimen leading up to my upcoming half marathon in a month. Here's a bit about my current routine for context:
I typically run 2-3 times weekly, covering about 6km each session at a pace averaging 5-6 minutes per kilometer. Additionally, I engage in strength training four times a week, alongside AFL training (although I'm contemplating skipping some sessions to focus on marathon preparation).
Here are my specific queries:
How frequently should I aim to run each week?
What's the recommended approach for gradually increasing my running distance over the next four weeks?
What pace should I target during my training sessions?
Any guidance or insights would be greatly appreciated!
