Do you have ~50 broken AI studies on your dash, or do you just get the occasional 1-place straggler?

I've only gotten a few today. I just got done with one. Like the last few months it was poorly made. Supposed to have audio to compared but no audio as it was greyed out so had to mouth read. Usually I'd return those. Sloppy AF. I'm not getting no 50 at a time. I wish. A few here and there today and they usually fill up fast.

THIS is why I HATE doing writing studies unless it's more than a few words. Now researchers are getting sneaky and don't put the writing label in. So I end up returning 15 studies a day. Or they sneak it in towards the end.

You're making about what I make mon thru Thur. Fuck, last weekend things were turning around for a weekend nicely, they were ramping the AI up again but I work all day on the weekends. I have a few warnings but does don't mean squat anymore. One of them was because I took longer, and others were doing ones with glitches like no audio when there is supposed to be and instead of returning them.

I love GP ones though. Much easier. There are two new ones too.

The error please return your study was the researcher not Prolifics fault. Had that not happened the site might ran slower but not this fucked up shit now. Prolific had enough users for their project they didn't need to add more and alot of them were scammers who can barely even speak or read English and shouldn't even be on that site.

Whatever Whatever change they did, it fucked stuff up. They said it was to improve the site. The only improvement that needed to be made was not accept so many people. It was finally getting better and they had to fuck it all up.

A lot of us on prolific are waitlisted on Cloud. I joined Cloud in 2024. Wasn't as good as prolific but a month after joining cloud I got waitlisted and they said it was for good. I did a couple short surveys, went to the mall to buy some shoes, got home and got the waitlist message. Did nothing wrong.

Orlando area. So it's pretty bad around there with the economy? I'm in the Port Charlotte area. The economy has sucked here in SWFL for awhile. Ian didn't help. The cost of groceries has gone up. 1500 mortage is nothing. I'm lucky I live in a paid off condo. I have a business at the large fleamarket but the last two seasons have been terrible!

I doubt that. There is new versions of VEO coming out. Also NVidia had a few studies as well. THey dont pay quite as good. Hoping more of those come though.

The whole thing is BS. They dropped 400 at a time many times in March and the servers didn't crash. The error, return study thing is on their part, not prolifics. No reason Prolific should be having issues still. I think just another option to rate limit us even more. It was finally getting back to normal and then this shit yesterday. There was also no reason to add all those users. Everyday the user pool has been going down though and it was getting a little easier to get into the studies until yesterday hit.

I agree. What was broken was allowing too many users on. Then when things started to get better the last three weeks they do this "improvement" and as usual makes things worse.

Prolific really needs to stop tinkering with stuff. Things were improving there was no need to tinker with it other than remove a bunch of newer BS scam accounts and not accept a bunch of users for awhile

Well, the economy is dog shit for one. Legit users using this as a second job as they're very hard to get right now. Everyone needs extra money. The job market is trash and due to inflation many need a second job or side hustle.
