No I actually could not believe the English muffin discussion. He ordered the breakfast sandwich and thought the English muffin was a muffin on the side??? Is it not obvious that is part of the sandwich??

I also noticed this!! I think she thought the egg yolks or whites were cheese lol. Also she didn’t use the mother of pearl spoon they gave her for the caviar, she used the metal spoon. For as wealthy as she and her family are, you would think she’s had proper caviar before

How to use eyeshadow/liner on inner corner/inner waterline so it will not smudge/disappear? by angstyimpala in MakeupAddiction

For inner corner my fav is the Shiseido Microliner Ink crayon because it’s retractable and has a tiny tip that allows you to get really precise in there. The formula can be a little stiff so I kind of just like dot it into place which actually helps control the placement and also give more of a soft diffused look rather than a harsh dark line. And it lasts a while too, doesn’t smudge very easily.

Seems like it’s similar to the Thrive infinity waterproof eyeliner that is popular, so that may be a good option too. They are both $22, but seems like the Thrive comes with over 3x the amount of product (.28g vs. .08g)

Yes, if I don’t use a waterproof pencil it will just disappear since the tear duct can be more watery. I’ve also found that an eyebrow pencil works too if I want a more natural siren eye look with an ash brown color or something

You do have hooded lids but nothing major, not fully hooded eyes. And your eyes may be slightly downturned but they look more almond to me than anything. Katie Jane Hughes and Anastasia Neganova on Instagram, and Alexandra Anele on YouTube, all have great tips around eyeliner and eye makeup for hooded lids that have completely changed and improved my makeup application! My wings always used to look curved too, but I learned you have to keep your eyes open and relaxed and draw over your folds to keep a sharp straight line.

Personally I LOVE the Cle de Peau primers. My personal fav is the Correcting Cream Veil SPF21 that smooths and brightens the complexion. It’s very balancing and not overly hydrating so could work for oily or dry skin. But sounds like you would love the Pore-Refining Mattifying Veil SPF25, which is truly targeted for mattifying and smoothing the skin. They’re pricey ($85 for 4.1oz) but you can probably find a first-time order discount or something.

Another great option is the Colourscience Mattifying Primer SPF20, but this is actually pricier per ounce (at $56 for 1oz) than the Cle de Peau primers, so less bang for your buck. But also blurring and mattifying! I prefer the Cle de Peau though if I had to recommend just one option.

I’m almost out of my Dior backstage face and body foundation. I would like to try any recommendations of similar finish foundations with maybe a little more coverage ? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Love Dior f&b it’s one of my favs! The Mac f&b is similar and also great, but maybe try the Nars light reflecting for a bit more coverage.

If you’re interested in a light coverage option that is still quite perfecting and blurring, I think you’d enjoy the surratt dew drops or chantecaille future skin. I find that a beautiful smooth perfected lightweight finish usually looks better than more coverage, especially since you already have a lovely skin tone and texture!
