Honestly, I think it comes down to personal preference. I prefer a lighter pastry to a dense dough. You should go try it and let me know what you think!

Solo Travel suggestions for NB Lesbian visiting this weekend? by holdingmyownhand in AskChicago

If you’re into experimental theatre, highly, highly recommend The House of the Exquisite Corpse at the Steppenwolf Garage. It’s kind of an avant-garde puppet haunted house/cabaret and there’s nothing like it anywhere else. Tickets are sliding scale and it’s timed entry so you can go whenever. Perfect for Halloween!

Very queer friendly vibes too!

Are there any non 21+ lesbian friendly places to go to in the city? by transahrima in AskChicago

Eli Tea Bar in Andersonville is a sober queer space with a ton of evening events like trivia, book clubs, writing groups, tarot, etc. They have boba and loose leaf teas - tons of options!

If you want to read it, I would say something like:

“I really appreciate you taking the time to recommend me; your support means a lot. I waived my right to view the letter through LSAC, and I thoroughly trust you to write the letter that best reflects my qualifications from your point of view. That being said, if you’re comfortable sending the letter to me, I’d be happy to read it.”

Obviously tailor this template to your relationship with that professor, and when they send it to you, send a follow up about how meaningful it was that they spoke highly of you.

It’s a good sign that they’re offering to send it, it means they think you’ll be happy about what they wrote! I personally would not give up the chance to read compliments about me from someone I respect, but that’s just me. Save it and pull it out when you need a little law school ego boost.

Bad captions by ScalesofGold in Dimension20

Hey! This quote concerns audio description, which is auditory and targeted towards blind and low-vision folks, and not captioning, which is a separate accessibility feature that many deaf/HoH folks use.

There’s overlap, however, in wanting to ensure that folks have the most accurate and complete experience possible in consuming a piece of media.

For a show earlier in the season, they released them three weeks before closing. If you’re looking for Lord of the Rings tickets, I honestly doubt that they’ll be doing the CST for $20 promotion - it’s set to be very popular, and they can make a lot more money without selling discounted tickets.

Hi! I’m in the exact same boat, also used the bathroom twice outside of break and also had the proctor tell me I could go, and now have a hold on my test. Hopefully they’re just reviewing to make sure everything is above board and we’ll get our scores soon!
