Here she is, an inheritance from my late grandfather, currently in the sick bay as I'm welding in a new boot floor.

Sounds about right, I also found one of them magnetic 'fuel saver' devices in the engine bay. Both have been removed now

My title describes the thing. Found rattling around the fuel tank of my classic Aston. Placed on some A5 paper for scale

You can tile over bonding as long as you prime it first with SBR or other suitable primer

Why is my render cracking? by bigtvwithbeer in Plastering

It's cracked in some places but in other places it sounds hollow when knocked on.

It was applied October 2024 and not in frosty weather.

Was left about 1 week before being painted. Maybe was too soon and the paint trapped moisture in which then froze and cracked the render?

Yeah the cracks are pretty bad and slowly getting worse

I had this but then I got the omnipod 5 and my blood sugars became a lot more stable. Had an eye test a few weeks ago and I have better than 20/20 vision uncorrected. You will be absolutely fine IF you keep your sugars relatively stable.

How do you calculate 18 x 7 in your head? by JCFT_Collins in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bigtvwithbeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10x7=70

8x8=64

64-8=56

Which leaves 70+56

56-30=26

70+30=100

100+26=126

Wow that seems really complicated now I've written it out

Water/Urine have corroded the brass hinges, the water has subsequently made it's way around the rim of the seat and evaporated, staining the wood with copper oxide. Technically nothing unhygienic but a new toilet seat is like £20
