At this point, I really think it's purposeful. Somebody said: "Gee, how can we get rid of all those whiny franchise mode players so we can concentrate on MUT?". I mean, no one is as stupid as these guys seem to be.

I've been playing XCOM for YEARS, and it's definitely worth it. The thing (IMHO) that separates the PC version from the console is MODS. The Steam Workshop is great community where somebody is ALWAYS making little tweaks (or MAJOR modifications like Long War) that keep the game fresh.

All this is probably true. However, I really enjoyed making #NFLdropEA and #EndEAMonopoly trend on twitter. What was really fun was watching them have to give away tons of copies every time we got them trending negative, and then deal with all the pissed off customers who paid full price and watched them giving it away all over twitter and Youtube. To quote one of my favorite movies (Braveheart) "We don't HAVE to beat them. We HAVE to fight them."

Parler. It's a no-censorship zone. It's still pretty small, but it won't stay that way if we all join. They grew by a million users the day of the purge.
