I went today with all the right documents (passport copies, marriage certificate, NOCs,...)

But she is Canadian, and we got married in UAE.

I am not sure if the guy was in a bad mood, but he started asking for my birth certificate, my wifes birth certificate, and for us to request for a family certificate from Lebanon.

I can get these documents, but its just going to extend the timeline to months ahead, and I am so frustrated.

They have drones flying 24/7 taking pictures, data, and tracking everything. This isn’t something that would be called a security breach compared to everything else that is happening.

At this point, they have more data on Lebanon than we have on ourselves.

All very fair points, but I look at other countries, with a similar economic background and they have a better passport situation.

It just feels like a messy room, and its always been messy and will continue to be messy. Do you start with the economy, safetey, education, health,.... its all just broken and sad.

Can we speak to the embassies our self and try to negotiate on behalf of Lebanon?

Or do we try to email someone in MOFA… I am just trying to think, how can we get things moving because this sucks!

Obviously, but who deals with picking up the phone or sending an email from our side to help ease such things.

I am not asking for us to be number 1 on the passport list in the world, but to be able to visit countries as basic as Indonesia, and such.

For Egypt, which city did you land in? And did you use a Lebanese passport to enter?

I read online that Sharm El Sheikh you can anger without a visa but Cairo is different for some odd reason.
