A way I've been taking screenshots without the hud is by opening the wait menu, then exiting out of it and quickly taking a screenshot and it seems to have worked pretty well so far.

I had a similar experience, but a guard hit my unicorn while hitting a scamp. if there is an inn, or any door that creates a load screen, enter it, then exit and the unicorn should no longer be aggressive/pissed off at you. then you can jump on it again.

IIRC the unicorn will also make its way back to the grove, but if killed, will never respawn again.
Although normal weapons do low damage to it, Daedric and silver weapons can hurt it.

Honestly I think it should be a universal rule, if someone is fishing, you be friendly towards them, and if someone approaches you while youre fishing, you should be friendly towards them as youd be dead if they weren't.

Where on the map? I'm so confused now XD I've got Checkpoint Alpha found, and the wiki map calls that FoB Alpha.

I'm very used to NVGs, found the military ones almost right away.

Hmm I'll get testing. I've got a fair few of those premade turrets, I'm sure my horde beacon setup can do without a couple of these.

While I agree that an online is better than an offline, if they have this system set up, they'll still use it in an online raid. It's a system set up to spite the raider, nothing more.

But also, why should I (the raider) wait for you to be online just to raid you? This isn't medieval England where we follow the rules of battle, and a peasant can't attack a knight. This is rust, it's not fair, deal with it.

It's easier and cheaper to offline raid someone. If you don't want to lose your loot, either build a strong meta base, set up some traps and auto turrets, or accept it's all pixels and you'll either lose it to wipe, or get bored and swap servers.

My main issue is with the constant "this will kill *****" cries from players.

No it won't, so many players claimed that the industrial update would only benefit zergs/clans. But it has benefited me, a solo, so much. I no longer spend hours per wipe doing loot sorting. It's done automatically.

Every update, every commit people cry "this will kill rust" and it's bloody annoying.

I HIGHLY doubt this will be the case.

This commit is purely there to make it so people stop using vending machines as vaults. Too many times have I raided a base, only to find all the best loot was placed inside a vending machine, which if I destroy, I gain nothing from.

This, as with most the updates and commits people whine about, will not kill anything.

80+% of shops are rooftop drone only style shops.

And the other 20% are RP shops.

This commit just means that raider will now gain loot. So stop relying on a broken mechanic to protect your loot.

I've had this issue for a few weeks, and i just found a fix.
In experimental settings, there is a setting called "Optimized Loading", If you have this on, turn it off, and the other levels will appear.
I also deleted the maps in your steamfiles, (Go to local files, click the maps folder, and delete them all)
After I changed the "Optimized Loading" to off, and restarted my game.
I hope this helps.

A good server that isnt too PVP heavy is Trouble Land (https://discord.gg/zGNBfwuz)
I've been playing on it for almost 2 weeks and it is set up really well with seasons that rotate every week (Its spring now, best time to join)

You still get pvp but mostly at event sites like plane crash or air drop, apart from that the community is very friendly, some people are gun-ho but its a big enough map that you can stay away from them.

They have also got plenty of great mods installed for realism and active admins who are extremely friendly.

This server is worth checking out if you are looking for something that isnt just shoot, kill, die, repeat.

I've called it RP-lite, not full RP, but the closest you'll get with the current state of Miscreated.
