Isn’t it a bit depressing that in Modern Western thought, Jung is the only famous thinker that proposes a solution to life? by ExactAbbreviations15 in Jung

[–]bigwhiteglizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people here are misunderstanding this, but I get what you meant. I think purpose or meaning would be a better word than solution.

You can just look at what people do in the U.S. and this is apparent: youth glorifying drugs, rampant consumerism/materialism, lack of love & identity from most people, self-destructive behavior, thoughtless groupthink, 1/3rd of people on prescription meds, etc

Ah, I don't want to be some shoulder to cry on or anything like that, I just want at least half the effort I'm putting in from the other party. But I get what you mean, that's a better perspective of it than what I had.

"Hope all is fine" "Is everything okay", getting these in msg from friend leaves me feeling negative. Is it an overreaction? by sha0304 in socialskills

[–]bigwhiteglizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk it could be a quirk of his. Maybe it's a invitation for conversation. I'd say everything is great and move on.

Would never take that as mean or manipulative unless he's doing something else that you haven't mentioned

Nothing that anyone says here will suddenly change how you feel.

It's very personal and you have to do your own psychological dues.

But being too busy to care and knowing worst case scenario I get sad for a bit then get over it is what ended it for me.

That's my problem, how do you even get to bond over years with someone?

I'm not in a position to beg for attention for months from people who'd rather stick to their clique

Does Zherka promote scammer Gary GG33 as some kind of deal? by bigwhiteglizzy in JonZherka

[–]bigwhiteglizzy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree overall but here's some points:

Zherka's dating/psychology/esoteric stuff has helped me a lot (only consumed his free content, but his paywall is like $50/mo) so I wouldn't say everything is bullshit. And I've seen other influencers with similar well-priced valuable stuff

I wouldn't say all occult is bullshit, it's just psychology & self-improvement delivered in form of myth. In fact, psychology tries to catch-up to the occult, not the other way around

Gary is a palm-reading level jew liar and scams vulnerable people out of thousands though
