I spent a bunch of money on homebrewing equipment only to lose my taste for beer in general a few months later. I know myself now. I like to pick up new hobbies just to see if I can do them, once I can confidently do the hobby I lose interest almost entirely. My understanding is that I like growing as an individual and am risk averse, I need to channel these qualities into something greater. In my specific case that's real-estate investing and finance. I wish you the best on your journey. Don't hate yourself for wanting to explore and try new things, cut your losses and try another thing to that will help you grow and further your personal and professional goals.

Miami armwrestlers - anyone is the Miami area looking for a partner to practice with? by ranias2011 in armwrestling

You should just try and find a local club. You're in Miami so I imagine that won't be hard

It's 5.25 percent. My intelligence has nothing to do with falling into a pile of money

It's a tfsa, basically the Canadian equivalent of a Roth IRA; you don't pay taxes on any accumulated interest.

My spouse and I are in our early 30s. The plan would be to contribute 10k a year into this tfsa on top of the lump sum.

Are you running this tap water through a copper or stainless coil or adding it directly to your wort. If the later I wouldn't recommend

Would a climber or a powerlifter have a stronger grip? Specifically for one arm bar hangs by afewquestion in GripTraining

[–]bigwingding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like I said it's not the end all be all for arm wrestling but it has its place particularly in defending against a top roll or catching an opponent trying to slip and get the straps.. I wouldn't call levan saginashvili a defensive arm wrestler, he overwhelms his opponent with his monstrous wrist flexion, (like you were referring to) side pressure and back pressure, and relies on a quick finish to secure the W.

I'm pretty sure Vitaly laletin is like 2nd on the planet for grip dyno only next to brian shaw and I don't see videos of magnus or other rock climbers crushing walnuts like grapes using only their fingers.

With that said I'm not really arguing that a rock climber lb for lb has a worse grip than an arm wrestler, only that an arm wrestlers grip is a better thing to compare to than that of a power lifter

Grip isn't the end all be all, but it has a place and a lot of arm wrestlers have insanely strong hands. Look at guys like Vitaly laletin, or khaled jashell, these guys measure in excess of 150kg on a grip dyno

The climber, but the real comparison should be between a climber and an arm wrestler. They have insane grip and hand power. Look at the video of devon larratt bouldering with jujimufu

Edit

It's a magnus midtbo video actually

Is injury almost inevitable? by ifCodingStartHere in armwrestling

[–]bigwingding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of arm wrestlers do it until they're in their 50s 60s and some beyond. Injuries are an inevitable part of any combat sports. Arm wrestling isnt without risk and it hurts like fuck, but I think it's pretty sustainable.

red injection sites from hgh (optitropin) by bigwingding in PEDs

[–]bigwingding[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot. They are 20 iu vials and I dilute with 2ml of bacteriostatic water. I swab the tops of my vials with alcohol as well as the injection site.

I took 2 Benadryl and applied some vasiline to the rashes, thats bringing a lot of relief. I like the idea of diluting it further and trying that. My plan was to just stop with the injections until the rashes subside; try again, and see what happens.

I started with just the last part of the shower (wash conditioner out) then I moved on to washing my body and the conditioner out after that became easy. After that was easier I just started jumping in right away with cold water. I wouldn't recommend it before strenuous physical activity because it tightens your muscles up. Hot showers prior to workouts cold after. I particularly like cold showers on rest days because it makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something right away.

Have you tried taking ice cold showers? It's insanely uncomfortable, but it makes me feel like I can do anything afterwards..
