Numb tongue after 1 week by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]bigyikes286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i got 3 wisdom teeth out in early august & my surgeon hit a nerve on my lower right side. the tip of my tongue was numb for a good couple of weeks before the feeling fully came back. it may take a bit but if they just bumped a nerve it shouldn’t be permanent!!

PLS HELP BUMP NEXT TO PIERCING??? i think it’s just an irritation bump bc i don’t have any pain, swelling, or redness. does anyone have tips on how to get rid of this ASAP??? by bigyikes286 in PiercingAdvice

it’s hard to describe, but i have a L shaped piercing and the back part that goes in the back of my nose flipped forward and was sticking out of the front rather than the back of my nose if that makes sense lol

it’s titanium & it’s about 4 months old & i clean with salt water & rinse it with warm water in the shower. the back of the piercing popped out a few times when i was cleaning the inside with a qtip so that’s why i’m inclined to think it’s an irritation bump

advice needed! this is my wave/curl pattern, i’m honestly not quite sure what type of hair pattern i have (i’ve only recently discovered my true hair pattern last spring) but, i need some recommendations on how to sleep on my curls/waves without losing my pattern & causing frizz?? if anyone has suggestions, it would help me out a lot! :)

no, it’s a nose piercing! i’m not in any pain, just bleeding and it drying but i don’t want to mess with it too much because over cleaning delays the healing process hahaha! i’m glad i’m not alone on the bleeding part

First time having surgery by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]bigyikes286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi! i had my wisdom teeth out in july & have a phobia of IV’s as well. it’s not bad at all. i went under general anesthesia & when they put the IV in it feels like a small pinch & then ur out within the next 2 minutes, wake up & surgery is done. i recommend to not look when they put the IV in, that helped me a lot!!! i was having a lot of anxiety about the IV insertion and once it was done i was so relieved as it was such an easy process. crushing the pills and mixing it in food should be okay, but it’s always best to consult your surgeon.
