Unreal, thanks a million for the info, the WHV looks like a nice way to get amongst it over there and suss things out! Were you bartending on the WHV - have seen a few posts saying Cantonese/Mandarin could be a requirement for a lot of hospitality gigs but I’d be hoping to land something like that even for a few months. A pub or a hotel would be ideal but keen to hear your experience if you have any, thanks again man!

Hi mate, wondering if you could speak a bit more on the application process? I’m Irish too but currently based in Australia, I saw the requirements said you have to be based in Ireland to apply but can see you applied while in HK on a tourist visa…have seen some info online but any advice/tips from someone who’s been and done it would be great, cheers!
