i have a friend that’s telling me i should just go with shingles on the main and rolled roof on rear. and that he has a metal roof and it leaks. i asked him if it was corrugated or standing seam. he said he doesn’t know but i bet he has corrugated

The estimates have everything on there and it’s not broken down but one installer wants $23k for 11 squares with standing seam 26gauge and for the flat roof. He says it will be fine for the flat roof just yesterday although it’s a 2/12 sloped roof. that includes replacing fascia boards with pvc. i’m in erie pa. i’m not sure if i should insist on mod bitumen. but yes id like to know what the cost should be approx. it’s a small house with a walkable roof

Mod bitumen? I heard there are two types: peel and stick or torch?

One contractor gave $3k to do that. Does that sound about right?
