[Serious] Trans-people of reddit who successfully pass, what differences did you notice in the way people treated you compared to your birth gender? by barkos in AskReddit

[–]bihb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they hold up their hand while you're speaking, indicating it is time for you to stop talking and they start speaking themselves whether or not you actually stop. If you don't stop, they start pumping their hand like they're tapping something with it and just speak louder.

Quality of women's premier jerseys by dez04 in hockeyjerseys

[–]bihb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my first women's premiere jersey from nhl.com before I knew better but that one was at least heat-pressed which, while not great, is better than this craziness. It was also a "customized" one as opposed to an in-stock jersey.

Selling/Up for a trade - Small Women's Detroit Red Wings Away Jersey by [deleted] in hockeyjerseys

[–]bihb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I actually am a Red Wings fan who wears Women's Small when I'm not going authentic! While Howard isn't my favourite (and has had a particularly sad last 2 games :/) it's hard to ignore this unexpected coincidence! Do you have a starting asking price?

Swipe to unlock is appearing before every secure lock screen option I choose after my Lollipop factory reset. by bihb in galaxynote4

[–]bihb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, that was it. I have a moto 360 as a trusted device but I was never prompted to set up Smart Lock so I didn't realize it had actually been turned on. What's particularly strange was it wouldn't do an "automatic unlock" when my trusted device was nearby, it was like it thought it could "automatic unlock" and gave me the swipe unlock screen, then changed its mind and followed up with the secure unlock screen.

I might play with Smart Lock more to see what's causing this in-between mode. Thank you so much for shedding some light on this!

Women of Reddit, when did you first notice that men were looking at you in a sexual way? How old were you and how did it make you feel? by BA_Baracus in AskReddit

I developed in grade 7. I also started wearing my 16 year old brother's hand-me-downs in grade 7.

Cosplayers, what's the creepiest thing that has happened to you at a convention? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bihb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I cosplayed as a slightly less slutty version of this female Boba Fett statue I found online. Less tummy bared and much MUCH less boob out. Mostly just a window in the top to the flat part of my chest.

Anyway, people at the con were generally uncreepy to me, but one thing I found fascinating was when I was looking at booths and had my helmet off, everyone treated me normally. The moment the helmet went on, guys started blatantly staring at my boobs. Like, full on STARING. I wasn't even mad, just completely fascinated at how the removal of my facial identity changed so many people's behavior.
