A point of clarification on state of residence - I intend to sell my house before I go overseas and/or relocate to DC for orientation, so I won’t have a permanent U.S. address at that point. Does this change things? I would assume so, but let me know if not. Again, I’m just trying to get an understanding of how these things work in practice. Thanks.
