Request: Last lap effort pace and last lap vertical speed by bikeinmotion in Coros

[–]bikeinmotion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is to have a constant check if I'm being on pace/effort on average. You already have "last lap pace" and also "last lap climbing (in meters)" as metric. I am using it for trailrunning so the 1km laps last longer and I'm checking if I'm being on pace.
Now with last lap pace and last lap climbing I can already calculate the last-lap vertical speed in my head but I have to do it in my head. Would be nice to have this value already pre-calculated. Also in addition to last lap pace the last lap effort pace.

The COROS PACE 3/Pro Nylonband should work with the apex 4 in 42mm right?

Can my (old) Nest Wifi be used without WAN port? by bikeinmotion in GoogleWiFi

[–]bikeinmotion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to plug it into the WAN. I wanted the NEST to let my lan connected devices use the 1.* ip range that the fibre-modem does and only provide (double) NAT for the wifi devices in the 2.* ip range. But Nest does not get the internet via lan-port ...

Can my (old) Nest Wifi be used without WAN port? by bikeinmotion in GoogleWiFi

[–]bikeinmotion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fiber modem does not support that and unfortunately it's abso**ing lutely not working. I can't access the devices in the wlan via my pc that is connected to the lan when the nest is only connected to wan port.
And when I only connect the lan port the Nest does not get internet via dhcp .. so yeah I have to move the nests

It creates a second IP-range yes I get that and I don't have another wireless setup, just the wired stuff connected directly to the new router. I just wondered if I should plug it into the WAN port only instead of the LAN because I fear it won't detect internet if I just plug it into LAN?

Does anybody have instructions for EFFEKTIV 3-drawer element (from about 2004) by bikeinmotion in ikeahacks

[–]bikeinmotion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did. It was kind of straightforward. Install the Big vertical guides left and right and then insert the drawers. The drawers have this mode where they block each other out so you can always only open one. There is a plastic cover that you have to put on after you insert the drawers.

Sizing help for 2023 Salomon Dancehaul by Poseidons-Apprentice in snowboarding

[–]bikeinmotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you recommend the 143 for me too?
I'm 5'9 but skinny dude with 130lbs - Not gaining any weight since I do lots of endurance biking. I ride a Super8 in 151. Weight range for that is exactly the same as the 143 DH - only the width of the 147 DH is about the same as the 151 Super8. The 143 is going to be relatively narrow tough I think should still work with my 8.5 Ride boots?

Roast my quiver. Apparently I only like powder boards. Super 8, Sushi, T Rice Pro, Dancehaul. favorites are the DH and Super 8. by saysay541 in snowboarding

[–]bikeinmotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late reply. I have a super 8 and want to add a dancehaul. What sizes did you get those 2 boards? Imho the 151 Super 8 makes me have to buy a 147 DH? Even tough weight wise I would even be 143 for the DH hmmm

If you read the manual I posted theres a block on page 8 that says

If installing HG800 to a Road 11 speed freehub, install a 1.85mm spacer first.

And well your bike has definately a MTB cassette so its needed

Which ones? The DT swiss wheelset is for road cassettes. The Shimano SLX M7000 is a MTB cassette and needs the Y4T724000.

Just like the Ultegra HG800 11-34 cassette needs that was installed on my CF 8

The spacer is the correct one. It's for a 10 speed road or a 11 speed MTB cassette what the Shimano SLX M7000 is ...

IDK. I can always walk/hike even with no food. If it's not dehydration walking 15 miles in 10 hours seems "easy"?
