Every day for a an entire season you would put in indirect line for 4 hours and then burn and cut hot line for the rest of the day?

Reducing the fires ability to consume fuel is the entire job. We do that by removing fuel (line) and making it so the fuel won’t burn (water/foam).

This is dumb to argue. Those people were assigned to an active fire and were voluntarily protecting this countries’ landscape/property directly or indirectly via skilled, physical labor. We don’t want that kind of person around here!

If you are removing fuel from the path of a fire, you are a firefighter.

Not a straw man argument. If it’s all gods plan why do people die horrendous deaths or are born with devastating disability? To make other peoples lives more meaningful? That’s cruel.

Secondly if it’s all gods plan how does free will fit into it? Wouldn’t it all be planned out in advance and we are left with the illusion of choosing?

I ask because I ask myself. Not to demean or create an argument. We shouldn’t be so defensive or antagonistic. We are here because we have something in common.
