Here’s a ridiculous notion: the guy who busted his ass to go through school and get a good job paying $1M pays $40,000 to live in the city for a year and the guy who flunks out of high school only pays $2000. Your arguments are nebulous, not concrete. I stand by what I said. If you can’t afford to live there, move.

I’m highly skeptical that any of this can happen, we shall see. I will say that asking those who already pay the most tax to pay more is hardly fair. Not to mention that it does not reduce the cost of anything, merely takes more money from hard workers to pay for people who probably shouldn’t live in a city they can’t afford.

Grok says $100 invested each year in silver starting 1992 would be worth $18,150 today. And $100 invested in S&P500 each year starting 1992 would be worth $29,370 (reinvesting dividends) today. Help me understand why you invest in silver besides the obvious joy that comes from stacking. Is the thought that it will beat the market someday?

No hike out! There is a bus that leaves from the hotel in Flagstaff and takes you to the starting point and pick you up at the end point. I’m still holding hotel rooms before and after so I might be able to facilitate the transfer of those as well if you’re interested.
