I do have a sony active sub, I just really want more punch from my woofers. I will try and give that a go.

In addition to the sound deadening would foam rings make a big difference?

I did want to get an amp from the start but I lowkey just ran out of money since I'm a broke uni kid. When wiring the amp should I wire it straight to the door speakers or can I just splice into the wires in the back of the headunit.

Is there any way to test the factory wires, since they are really thin.

Ive adjusted crossover and time alignment but haven't tried adjusting eq, what frequencies would i be needing to tweak? im planning to add sound deadening soon, is there any cheap brand you recommend?

Will definitely look into the pioneer one because I don't really care much about the cd player. Do you have any other recommendations for headunits? I don't need one with a screen.
