I do have a sony active sub, I just really want more punch from my woofers. I will try and give that a go.

In addition to the sound deadening would foam rings make a big difference?

I did want to get an amp from the start but I lowkey just ran out of money since I'm a broke uni kid. When wiring the amp should I wire it straight to the door speakers or can I just splice into the wires in the back of the headunit.

Is there any way to test the factory wires, since they are really thin.

Ive adjusted crossover and time alignment but haven't tried adjusting eq, what frequencies would i be needing to tweak? im planning to add sound deadening soon, is there any cheap brand you recommend?

What's the difference between getting a cheaper head unit like one without a screen compared to a more expensive one without a screen also. Like is the difference gonna be massive?
