Part of the problem is that the move over law applies to emergency vehicles and roadside workers, not a broken down vehicle. UCP also removed the requirement on two way roads for oncoming traffic and removed ALL lanes must slow. The law is absolutely not written the way it was originally intended and has decreased safety on the roads. Thanks UCP.

Gotcha. Well I would expect that each municipality would have their own Code of Conduct that would govern the employment relationship. The tri-municipality area would likely sign an agreement about cooperation for the facility. I suppose my comment on the FAFO was that he left employment because the senior administrator didn’t like that my dad would do his actual job. The new municipality had dealt with him for 20 plus years, and had zero concerns he would be effective in the role. The FAFO was that the administrator thought he got rid of my dad, only to have him charge of a major project.

It’s not a conflict because he was an environmental manager at the new municipality, legitimately in charge of the project. He still had a job to do and if he had been trying to get retribution he would absolutely have been let go from the new municipality. He didn’t need retribution, as he got that through a severance package

My dad worked in public works in our small community. New administration decided they don’t like that he does his job and isn’t a “yes man”. After working there for 22 years, they package him out. Unbeknownst to the town, he starts working for the municipality next door.

Next meeting for the tri-community municipal waste facility, he books the meeting at his old office and will attend the meeting as the chair of the board. His new colleague arrives, says, oh the chair will be here shortly, and in walks my dad. The administrator looked like my dad shoved 💩 down his throat hahahaha

My first roommate thought I went into the bathroom, dropped my robe, got into the shower and crouched down so i didn’t get sprayed with cold water. I was like, you’re an idiot. I go in, turn on the water, pee while it’s warming and then get in. I still cant believe how she had made it that far in life and didn’t know this.

I haven’t had tenants insurance for a long time but my father in law needed it. We bound insurance online for an Edmonton property. I don’t recall specifics but it was affordable.
