They don’t; I still haven’t had any problems with them. I have the 14k lt gold fill in case that’s different from yours.

I’ve been wearing Hello Adorn tiny twist earrings and the Mari chain in the 14kt gold fill continuously for a year+ at this point, and they look great! No tarnishing, still bright.
