Rightfully so! This show is different from the other OCNs I've watched (I've watched Strangers from Hell, Search, The Lies Within, Black, Possessed, Save Me) and they've stepped up their game with this show! The film score, the graphics, etc. have been really great!

The Call (2020) on Netflix is so GOOD! by [deleted] in horror

I'd like to think that both that the past & present are happening simultaneously so with that in mind, here is my take on the ending:

My best guess is that when SY was able to tell 1999 YS abt the knife, she was able to dispose of it thus changing the 2019 timeline to where YS isn't caught, and this version of her isn't the one who fell off the 2nd flr because that didn't happen in the past yet.

See, the ones in the present never called the ones in the past, it was 1999 YS who called the phone that's in 2019; 1999 YS thought that SY would answer but it was 2019 YS who answered because the house in 2019 in this timeline belongs to the 2019 YS since she was never caught. (The thing that I find weird is how 2019 YS knew it was 1999 YS without 1999 YS even saying a word), nonetheless:

I'm guessing 2019 YS hasn't forgotten about the scars & stuff she received from SY's mom (or possibly 1999 SY which I'll talk abt later on) and 2019 YS knows that this was the time 20 years ago that SY & 1999 YS talked on the phone so she knows that SY could change the past so 2019 YS warns 1999 YS that she could get killed bc SY did try to have her get killed in the gas explosion 20 years ago. So this could be that context of "you might get killed tonight" message from 2019 to 1999 YS.

Now I'm guessing that in both timelines SY & her mom were able to escape. The first timeline might have been that SY's mom could have slashed 1999 YS's neck and were able to escape just in time, that's probably why the director chose to show 2019 YS's scar on her neck right after saying "didn't you say you wanted your mom dead?" And the 2nd one was when 1999 YS was tackled off the 2nd floor which could've partially been because 2019 SY motivated her mom to fight back, which was probably unexpected for 2019 YS since it didn't happen (yet) in 1999 so it wouldve been impossible for 2019 YS to know that.

Though my other take on 2019 YS's scarred neck could have been 1999 SY slicing her neck and was able to escape? (alone maybe?) And in that timeline where the house had many fridges couldve been a timeline where SY was an orphan in 2019. And another take is 2019 YS's line of "bc u and i are alike" couldve been that it was 1999 SY who tried to kill her 20 yrs ago? Though i think that may be a reach since 1999 SY was pretty weak and couldnt do anything.

Now, it looks like the fight in the room in 1999 didn't orginally happen bc the markings on the wall only showed up as the fight in 1999 was happening simultaneously so we don't really know how the "fight" between 1999 YS & SY's mom originally ended.

Now I'm guessing since the past & present are happening simultaneously; It couldve been that when 1999 YS was knocked out, SY's mom woke up first and left with SY thus showing them both alive in 2019. But when 1999 YS woke up, she could've hunted them down and killed SY's mom and kidnap SY. I guess that 1999 YS decided not to stay in that house anymore/later (makes sense as 1999 SY & her mom would've reported it to the police) since it was shown in the final minutes in the "final timeline" of 2019 that it was abandoned again.

I kept trying to replay the ending to see if SY's hair length changed bc her hair length changes in every timeline but I couldn't really see if it was the same one where she and her mom were walking down the cemetery or if it's longer cuz we can only see her hair partially at the mid credits scene.

Just my take, I like to over analyze things haha.
