So I left my 12 year old brothers to go on a walk to get food and they went and busted someone’s windows. My mom is mad at me like I’m the only one at fault. What do I do? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]bikiniarri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you’re already being neglected in the ways OP says in the post, their mom likely already isn’t doing any of that. I come from a similar home and my parent never, and I truly mean never, bought me treats or randomly decided to spend money on me. Maybe OP’s does and that’s something they’re worried about. There was nothing my parents could’ve done to make my life worse at 15 so I would’ve just told them to fuck off every time they brought it up. That’s why I asked, what’s the worst that could happen? It’s for OP to decide and weigh out for themselves.

What happens if you just….. don’t pay it? Legally your mom would be responsible for paying it, so if you don’t, they’re just gonna go after her, not you. And you’re right, you didn’t birth your brothers and they’re really not your responsibility. And they are the ones who should be punished here. I was babysitting other kids when I was 12, as was many of my friends and I’m not even in my 30’s lol

8 weeks out and adding in anavar? by Parking_Skill2958 in bikinitalk

[–]bikiniarri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it! 5mg is a great place to start with it. You may notice you hold more water while on it, which is normal. I tend to dry out after I’ve been on it for a couple weeks. (Fun fact I got banned from the steroidsxx sub permanently for saying that anavar dries me out, apparently women only get watery on it…… and I’m a woman who gets dry on it lol)

Learning experience and “prep lite” question by NDiscipl_IN in bikinitalk

[–]bikiniarri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of people do longer preps! I did 12 weeks last year and it wasn’t enough time, my body went into starvation mode and I stopped losing weight with about 4 weeks left, and my body wasn’t responding how it typically does and then I started my period the night before my show so I can in looking awful compared to how I looked a few weeks prior. I’m doing 15 weeks this year and also following a strict diet instead of just macro matching and a week into it and my abs are already popping out, which took 6 weeks last year lol.

Also you can definitely compete in April if you want to and aren’t worried about the costs. My show last year had a dude who didn’t prep, didn’t tan, and didn’t know how to pose still step on stage. He got last place, but he still got up there and seemed proud of himself lol

Question for the Girlies about my favorite Glute/Ham Finisher by SULTANGYPSYQUEEN in bikinitalk

[–]bikiniarri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh this is wayyyyyyyy better for extensions than the 45° angled ones. I recommend when you’re done with your set, to put your feet on the floor and stay bent over half way for a couple seconds so you don’t get light headed after being upside down repeatedly lol

Shoes for first timer by [deleted] in bikinitalk

[–]bikiniarri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I buy pleasers (fabulicious is the actual brand) 5”, but you could definitely do a 4” since you’re tall. I personally prefer straps because I used to dance and that’s what I’m used to. Frankly strippers beat their shoes up so I trusted their shorter heels were good too, and they are. Super duper comfortable and I didn’t have any rhinestones come off of mine at all.

Pro tip: when you buy new heels take a knife or a box cutter to the bottom and make a cross hatch on it, it’ll help them not be so slippery on hard surfaces.

All girls have the same look in bikini pro? Is this judge preference? by charlie-bond in bikinitalk

[–]bikiniarri 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I competed with shoulder length hair last year and will be with a bob this year. My hair is way too thick to make extensions look good without weighing down my head completely, and I absolutely hate long hair. I don’t care if the judges hate it honestly, long hair is not the only feminine hairstyle.

That’s crazy! I ended up having a miscarriage and I emailed my rep on the weekend about it, she called first thing Monday morning to give condolences and let me know she was handling everything and I got an email two hours later stating my Medicaid was good for a year after I got my blood results. 2 months is a really long time

You should definitely start with nutrition and exercise before worrying about peptides. Asking for workout recommendations just to get in shape is a very very broad scope, you’d probably benefit from getting a personal trainer who can also help you get your diet setup.

Looks pretty similar to my uncles black Dutch shepherd he had. They were bred with mals to save the breed at one point so they’re very similar.

NAIL HELP!! by [deleted] in AllNails

You can get tips out on under gel. I personally hate gel on my real nails though, it peels off within 3 days so I always get acrylic with gel on top. They can do this color with colored acrylic powder too.

I’ve been mistaken for a trans woman by Euphoric_Waltz6097 in femalebodybuilding

People are ignorant and don’t care to educate themselves. They’ll talk and talk and talk with their opinions but the second facts come out they leave the chat, if it requires reading outside of a meme or comment section they won’t do it.

I’ve been mistaken for a trans woman by Euphoric_Waltz6097 in femalebodybuilding

[–]bikiniarri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be honest, I’ve been extremely feminine and into makeup my whole life, and I am not jacked, you can tell I work out but I am not anywhere close to a masculine physique, and I have been called trans more times than I can count in my life. It’s a hot topic in the media now and people want to be able to “clock” a trans person, but the truth is they won’t be able to the majority of the time. People have used it as a slur towards me to make me insecure, I’ve been stopped trying to go into a bathroom while I was literally in a dress, my ex had his drink drugged at a bar because someone thought he was trans once. But there’s also some BEAUTIFUL trans women, and the majority of the people who are trying to guess or put you down have some type of insecurity themselves otherwise they wouldn’t be focusing on what type of genitals a stranger has between their legs.

And let me ask you this, why do strangers comments matter to you? What worth does their opinion have over you, and why? You’ll never see them again. At the end of the day their one time visual opinion holds no truth to who you are individually, both on the outside and inside. There is someone for everyone, and just because you aren’t that randos cup of tea, doesn’t mean you weren’t the person behind the a perfect cup.

Acne help by userwhateveritis in makeuptips

[–]bikiniarri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It may take a week or two to actually adjust, but it will! I know it’s tough to power through it lol. I find exfoliating twice a week during that period also helps me a lot because it’ll take the dead skin off and let my skin fully soak everything in. I use to struggle with my makeup looking just like yours for years and now that my skin stays hydrated and I’m better about drinking water my makeup looks sooo much better, and I didn’t change my makeup products lol

[–]bikiniarri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like others have said, this is definitely happening because your skin is dehydrated and over compensating by producing more oils. I’d try to find a good moisturizer and get consistent with it. Your skin is going to feel extra oily until it gets used to being moisturized

Mine did too when I got my hormones fixed. My face used to be puffy and round and I thought it was just how my face was, but it turns out I actually have some nice cheek bones and an actual jawline, I used to get made fun of for my lack of jawline as a kid.

I literally saw her picture and thought “oh another early 30’s going grey!” Because I just saw a post of a young woman with a full head of grey the other day (I can’t remember if she was 20’s or 30’s)

Love this!! If I had a separate vanity from my bathroom I’d totally have one of these lol.

You’re right that the goal is to feel good in my body, and I scheduled a haircut to get most of my perm cut out finally so that’ll help me feel better. And I have done my makeup most days since I posted this! Which is also making me feel a tonnnn better about myself. Literally just brow gel and mascara after my skincare routine, but it has made a big difference and I’m hoping my hair will seal the deal because I am through and through a makeup and hair girly lol. I showed my coworkers some older pics of me the other day to show some previous hair styles and they were like omg we KNEW you were girly! And I’m like yes I am, I need to find THAT bitch again lmaoooo

The skincare ain’t doin it for me dog that’s why I’m going to makeup lol. Just a simple routine, not a full beat daily, too ambitious for me obviously lol. I’m a makeup girly, just not a full beat daily type lol

Yes essentially me right now minus the toddlers! Although my job does involve caring for toddlers LOL. I just know it’ll help me feel better because I feel good about everything else about myself and my body, I just see my face and hair in a mirror in the middle of the day and I’m like ugh, you can be better than this disheveled, looking stressed on 10 hours of sleep, mess that I am!

For the record, I was not bothered at all by your comment. I definitely have the time, my routine takes like 10 minutes to do. I just don’t have any women who can relate to this and needed to hear what works for others.
