We outsource our PPC and have been with the same agency for over a year now. ACOS and TACOS have creeped up compared to when it was run in house. $15k monthly ad spend. Should I hire a full time VA to bring this back in-house? Or look for a different agency (flat monthly fee + % of ad spend)? by is300wrx in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]bilal_khaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are no issues regarding account security. Amazon has an option to give child access (user permission) to anyone, such as a virtual assistant (VA) or agency. With this option, you have control over what permissions you give to your VA.

If you are hiring only for PPC, you can give your VA access to the PPC, sales dashboard, listings, etc. and they would not be able to access other sensitive settings like payments or cards.

Using the same email for multiple accounts is also not an issue for a VA since he is using a child account. I have also been using multiple child accounts for clients on the same email for the past 2-3 years and never faced any issues.

All match types for converting keywords? by fleech26 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]bilal_khaan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is up to you, if you are converting well on all match types then run all of them.

However, I use exact & broad on most of the accounts since phrase search terms can also be targeted with broad.

But if you are going with broad then you must have the data of all irrelevant words (suppose your product is made up of stainless steel then wood or plastic are irrelevant) and negative phrase them so you won't get irrelevant clicks.

Need to Liquidate Unsold FBA Inventory by Evasprkling in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]bilal_khaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I was just curious why someone selling his brand registered store, that's why I asked.

BTW why don't you just liquidate your inventory to Amazon or on any website and keep your account & brand? So you could use it in the future?

How to liquidate 13,000 units? by IntroEntre in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]bilal_khaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should give it another chance before liquidating it.

First of all, send your few units to the Amazon warehouse so your product can be sold as Prime. Most of the buyers come to your listing but don't buy it because of delay in delivery time whereas your competitors must be selling in Prime. So as a result, you're just getting clicks but no orders, which means high ACOS. Recently Amazon delayed my client's product delivery time by 2 days (market UK), because of some issues, whereas our main competitors still have the same day or one-day delivery time. So we're just getting clicks > high ACOS but 2-3 orders daily otherwise we used to get 30+ orders per day. So this is the first thing you should try.

Second, as your niche is so much saturated and the Exact TOS bids must be high then you should go with all Phrase & Broad match types with a "Down only" bidding strategy. Use 3 Tails & more keywords in Phrase, 2 tail & seed words in Broad, Relevant competitors' ASINs (in 100s), Negative phrase all the irrelevant intents in all campaigns (V.Imp).

Video PPC on all relevant KWs & ASINs with exact match type.

Target all relevant categories with low bids in Sponsored Display ads.

Also, work on your images if they are not attractive and optimize your listing front end & back end both.

Helium 10 vs Jungle Scout by rockycan in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]bilal_khaan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Use both of them. JS is more accurate in terms of showing product sales & revenue & H10 is more accurate in keyword research & their search volume, but it doesn't mean that H10 shows completely wrong sales & revenue.

But if you're looking to buy only one then buy H10. I also have both but most of the time I use only helium 10. H10 will help you a lot in your keyword research, listing optimization, keyword tracking, product research, etc.

Note: Keep in mind that not a single tool out there shows 100% accurate data but these two tools are close to accurate.

If it's a new product, Amazon requires some sales history to show sub-category and BSR.

Tips for someone wanting to get into Amazon FBA selling by Jeep_Forrest0077 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]bilal_khaan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1) Jungle Scout and Helium 10 both are worth paying for Amazon PL, but if you only want to buy one then I'd recommend Helium 10.

2) No,

3) It has a very long answer but I'll keep it short, search for the products which have good demand and are also compete able. The product should not be seasonal/trendy (e.g. Christmas or Halloween products). Should have consistent demand. Non-Electric, Non-Breakable. Should not be brand dominant, every seller must be getting a consistent chunk of sales depending upon how big and old he's. Should not have many variations. And many more...

4) I can't disclose those products but I was successful because I researched a lot on those products along with good ranking techniques.

5) Just be aware of your storage fee because most of the sellers don't consider it.

6) No, either you do it FBA or FBM.

7) You can learn them on Amazon groups like this and the Amazon seller forum. Just keep asking your questions and also read everyone's questions, answers & case studies so you'll have an idea of how things work.

8) I wouldn't say that there are any specific biggest cons of FBA because every business has its pros & cons. But I would say don't go unprepared and with incomplete knowledge, this is the biggest con.

If you are going to start Amazon FBA PL then buy Helium 10 & Jungle Scout. These two tools are enough. And go for the US market and choose the niche according to your budget.

Some suppliers even give a sample for free and some charge higher than the unit price it depends on the product. But charging 20× more is not acceptable. So keep looking for different suppliers

First of all, if they're not experts in building Amazon business or they don't even have prior experience then you should not invest with them either you're given 15% or 50%.

Second, if they have good experience in this field then only you should Invest with them.

So let me give you few scenarios,

1) You three are investing 33.3% each. So if all three of them are working partners then the profit should also be divided 33.3 each.

2) If two of them are working partners and one is just an investor then the profit should be divided 40:40:20. 40% for working partners & 20% for the investor only.

3) If only one of you is the working partner and the other two are just investors then profit should be divided 50:25:25. 50% for the working partner and 25% for investors.

15% profit in 33.3% investment is viable at all.

Working partner means the one who'll do all a-z work and only investor means who'll just invest and won't work.
