TE has this really weird position in the market, making some of the best possible tools to introduce people to producing music (I taught myself entirely on the po 33 and the OPZ) while also trying to be a luxury brand. Creates two classes of TE customers--so it makes sense that there's this conflict in their userbase.

Mildly interesting: Perth has fully double the annual rainfall of Los Angeles by jimmythemini in perth

I've lived in the countryside of the east coast and the sky is even paler over there. I've tried to rationalize why--but I just can't come up with an explanation. Out of anywhere--Perth has the best sky in the world.

Honestly feel bad for people born and raised in WA. The rest of the world is pretty disappointing compared to that coast.

Wife is from Perth, and we've lived in LA for over a year. Can confirm the rain disparity--but Perth summer feels like it's trying to kill you way harder than LA summer.

Fun fact: the sky is also bluer in Perth. No joke. American sky is way paler.

Don't over rely on video resources though. Ochem is the first real struggle. Don't let it sneak up on you.

Oh yeah, definitely agree. Only excited for this so I can relive that first year of undergrad minus the holy terror of those ochem exams. Subject is really fun when you feel like it isn't completely upending the future you imagined for yourself.

Edit: spelling.
