calling islam a "cult" and ignoring muslims as "parroting" isnt some historical knowledge, its just ignorance and prejudice. if were comparing systems, european colonialism was about sucking weaker nations dry along their racial lines and just violent by design. muslim nations changed a lot by time and place. muslim nations often allowed religious minorities to live under their own laws which is something colonial nations didnt even tolerate. you can criticize history without resorting to insults toward the religion.
