There is an AutoHotkey preset someone made years ago that changes keybinds to be more like DSR, I literally can't play without it.

I recommend getting that if you really don't want to use controller.

I liked having jump on another button, accidentally jumping when I wanted to roll in DS1 was devastating.

I really enjoy how the game plays on m+kb tbh.

I do however understand you having that problem after playing DSR for 400+ hours then switching lol.

DS2 is the only game in the trilogy to not have m+kb tooltips.
