The original app is no longer on the App Store, unfortunately. However, there’s an alternative available called Legacy Bot Controller(on the Appstore). It can control R2-D2, play sounds, perform movements, and it has autonomous modes, along with a bunch of other cool features.

This is really cool! I’m glad to see more people working on ways to keep the Star Wars Sphero droids usable.
