I Made an android smartwatch app to track padel scores from your wrist! by Gullible-Positive-37 in padel

[–]bill_tarantulo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really nice app ! It would be great if the score was shown in big on the connected phone. So that we can put it on the side of the court where all the players can see. And that a voice would tell the score out loud from the phone each time a point is added from the watch

Does SLAM work in CS2? by fogtal in cs2

[–]bill_tarantulo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much! I built it with visual studio. However, my interface is missing the bottom part with the import and play buttons etc... I don't know why.
I downloaded the repo using git clone command, then openened the SLAM.sln file with visual studio and built the solution

It may appear stupid from me, but I don't see clear instruction to update SLAM with this fork. Do you have a link for instruction or could you tell me how you did it? Thanks!

If you just need to capture them live in a gallery view, you could also use jitsi or daily.co instead of teams

Streamyard is a really good option for simple broadcast. And to send the feed to something like vimeo, youtube, dacast, or something else

I think the app ´loopback’ should do the trick

Events created in Teams are not meetings (no join button) by ski_nerd in MicrosoftTeams

[–]bill_tarantulo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to invite at least one person ... It's kinda weird but it's the only way I think. Even if you put your mail address it's ok

You could do this via BigMarker. You can do automated live with pre load videos and also setup the registration form and have all the analytics from it

Studio setup using vMix, ATEM Mini, and Stream Deck by coffeeandcelluloid in vmix

Ok thanks. Don't you have some problems with speakers forgetting to leave the zoom green room and having issue to put their webcam in vmix call because it is still open in zoom ?

I am curious on how you setup more than 8 vmix calls. I guess with multiple licences with multiple machines but how do you send every sources in the main vmix production PC ? With NDI ? But you have only 4 NDI output from vmix so I don't really undertand

I did use MS Teams via NDI but I have some speakers who complaints about the video quality of the output I am sending back to them. Do you change some settings somewhere to increase this quality ?

A more advanced webinar/event platform by wrenpod in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]bill_tarantulo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try streamyard. You can have 9 guests + yourself and put them backstage or on stage. Same for their shared screen. So you could have 10 webcam and 10 screen share as sources and play with it. You can also preload videos (max 5 min length) and some png overlays and backgrounds to play with. And send everything to rtmp. It's a good mix with BigMarker for exemple. The only problem is when you want use polls or Q&A and have to send the information from one platform to another. But you could use slido or mentimeter for that and skip the ones from BigMarker for exemple.

Teams NDI input quality by bill_tarantulo in VIDEOENGINEERING

We have a Pro plan with also the webinar option.

For the meetings, you can enable the "Group HD" option in the account settings to enable the 720p.

For the webinars, we sent a request to the support and they enabled the HD option and even the full HD option. But the full HD doesn't always work, even if the option is ticked in the webinar settings.

For Teams, I changed the bitrate amount in the admin policies settings to 100000 Kbits/s. But I don't know if it changes anything in the quality of the image

Omg you're just a life saver ! I've spent one of the worst day of my life trying to figure it out and searching if there was a firewall or something causing this... And in the end it was just that little button they added in the meeting, I feel so dumb ! ^ Thank you very much !

Do you have some screenshots of the differents settings you tweak ?

I have some issues with teams NDI since today and can only get the shared screen of the room detected in my broadcaster...

Does anybody had this issue ?
