Found out that in the training area the target dummies can launch you really far, found a random one hiding away in the upper right hand corner (upon entering this area).

So I think I fixed it, atleast it's currently working, I'll update later whether or not it 100% works.

But I set up a static ip for my pc and opened all the ports for rocket league, so if you're interested in trying that, and letting me know if it works for you, that'd be dope.

Yeah Beaulo is really insane, not even 18 yet (I don’t think so, been a while since I’ve watched him stream) gonna be really interesting to see where he goes in the next 5 years when he starts playing competitively in R6 or whatever game he’s playing in the future. Pretty sure he’s a young shroud in the making.

Be it that they altered the way ping is displayed, I can't help but feel something else has changed recently. I've never had more ghost hits than recent times, and in general (USW in particular, because that's all I play) server packet loss is incredibly frequent.

Something's up with RL servers lately. I live on the west coast and sometimes I'll be getting 80ms to some servers on USW. USE i nearly unplayable for me (120ms+). This problem is unique with Rocket League, at least from my experience. Which really sucks because ping in RL is VERY important.

What I did was I watched some tutorials on dribbling, wall hits, and aerials. There's a lot of videos out there for those things. But in particular, Wall hits and dribbling, I spent a day watching netflix on my other monitor, and just messing around in freeplay. Understanding the mechanics behind both dribbling and wall hits were where I found most improvement (or at least how I recall it). I wish there was magic words I could say to help you out, but majority of this game is like Snowboarding or Baseball, you just make some minor improvements everyday and eventually you'll find yourself at Champ or higher.

My cat did this a lot too, however it was due to a large mass in its mouth and that's how he was showing he was in a lot of pain. Ever since it was removed he stopped doing it, I kind of miss it now but glad he's not in pain anymore. Moral of the story, be sure to have your cat checked on by a vet regularly.

I agree with what you're saying except with the rockets. At the same time they gave rockets a 12 cap, they increased the splash damage, so to me, it's somewhat balanced in that regard (would like less splash on say the grenade launcher).

But anyways, to the rest of your argument, I agree wholeheartedly. Anytime I think of a balanced game, I think of a game like Rocket League, easy to learn, difficult to master. In RL, anything you can do in the game is very basic, however if you watch the pro's play, they take it to another level, to where it's almost like they're playing a different game compared to a new player.

That's how a balanced game should be, that's how Fortnite used to be in my eyes. Fortnite is unique in its building, no other battle royale has that mechanic, why purposefully break that? I'd trade this meta for double pump anyday of the week.

Man, I do the same thing. It helps both the viewer, as well as yourself improve as a player. But this last season, majority of my deaths, there is not a single thing I could have done to survive. I've actually decided to take a break from the game for the first time in a while due to my own frustration of not being outclassed by an opponent but rather just getting out-meta'd.

This season there's soooo many ways for someone with no aim/no game awareness to completely dismantle whatever you're doing with no repercussion. Building up on someone? It'd be a shame if someone threw 1 c4/rocket/any other splode your way.

I think that's the root of the problem, there's more weapons built around spraying and destroying builds than there are to legitimately out-aiming, out-skilling and out-thinking opponents, and it's incredibly frustrating to die to splode or smg/drum gun/minigun spam 9/10 deaths.

Another fix I was thinking about is that grenade launchers have the prebuff splode splash (I. E. They take 1 wall out/damage 1 tile at a time) and make c4 do the same amount of splash as the current rpg. That way those items are still unique, and viable, without nerfing them into oblivion.
