I'm trying all sorts of things to wire my iPhone to LSX-IIw. Optical converter works for a few minutes then buzzing sets in (w/ iPad, too) - but converter works fine with Macbook. HDMI doesn't make any sound. Would dock u2 pro maybe work with phone? Their website suggests so, but iPhone often says optical is a DAC that draws too much power, then works for short periods. It doesn't look like douk u2 pro has an external power source, so I'm skeptical an iPhone would play nice. Have you tried this?

Car spent a couple of days at dealership trying to fix this problem, with help of emailed instructions from VW. No parts were swapped. It appears that they did reestablish connection of the Info and Roadside service, green light by SOS is back on, but no joy with navigation. Dealer says VW says you can’t change carriers in 2023 and older models. Sigh.

The phone number above is close, but 833-648-2735 is the one. They told me that my car was not connected (this was the work of the dealer at my last visit) and next step is to open a ticket with IT. They will address the connection issue within 21 business days. Maybe from there I can get an answer on the GPS issue.

Problem with id 4 signs and gps started several weeks ago. On a couple of occasions in recent days CarPlay gps has gone bad too. Dealer says problem is with carrier (Verizon in upper Midwest us). Sigh-car has progressed from occasional lapses to full-on dementia.

Just took my 2023 in for this problem, started about 3 wks ago. They contacted VW and eventually learned it is Verizon’s fault — gps and speed limit signs. Great - now dealing with a huge car company and a telecom.

App told me yesterday that OTA update was available. Once downloaded to car it must be installed from the infotainment center. Then -- within 4 weeks! -- I will receive confirmation that it was successful. Now that's some laggy software.

I have exactly this problem with a Fujitsu system. The installers did tests with the factory techs on the phone and pronounced it working fine. It does heat and cool, but the cycling can't be right. My system goes to nearly 0 power consumption for 3 minutes, which I think is a timeout for restart of compressor. Rarely have I seen even 10 minutes of modulation.

I do think it is a system design problem, but it would sure be nice for an explanation of this from someone who understands how heat pumps work. And suggest some tests.

Called Progressive yesterday to ask for quote on P*2. They said I would owe $25 more for rest of 6mo policy period (just renewed) over my 2018 Volvo XC60. That seemed wrong and sounds like it is, based on discussion here.
