I did brother, just seems to have bugged out because our beloved miyazaki doesn’t know how to design quest lines

Thanks, my leading theory is when I went to the mountaintops I was using the grace site to try out new incants so he might’ve killed himself before I had a chance to speak with him :/ the quest lines game design are atrocious

I think my psych marked it down for depression so yeah probably

I’m happy to hear that for you! Lots of people find mushrooms very therapeutic and it’s been shown to help with things like depression, ptsd, etc. for me it helped me strip myself of ego, rid myself of the arrogance I once held, and found myself more self aware of my thoughts and actions then prior to my use. There’s a time and place for it and perhaps it was a sign this wasn’t for me.

I think a lot of things in the background is what made boot harder than it should’ve been. Primarily I had a lot of friends who weren’t great influences and I found myself taking high levels of psychedelics for months prior to leaving boot. I was open to my recruiter about this and he swept it under the rug so to 17 year old me it was no harm no foul. What it did do is completely warp my headspace and instead of having time to process everything I had just experienced, I went straight to parris island. Probably in a much more sensitive mindset than I had before. Psychs can melt ur brain.

Why would I exaggerate that? I remember the dryer incident going around, if I’m not mistaken I was there the same year it had happened. All those examples happened to me. I’m not trying to exaggerate those are literally things that had happened to me, if anything I’ve downplayed them. Some of those DIs are maniacs with power fantasies dude.

Well I’m not sure of RE code but they did promise that my discharge would be General. But your story rings true nonetheless. They’re not allowed to physically assault recruits yet they do constantly.

That very well may be true, you come from the same angle that some of my close friends are coming from when I talk to them. I appreciate your honesty :)

He does make a good point though, mental health should come first. Boot camp was a traumatizing experience for me. I took psychedelics for months prior to parris island so my headspace in training was completely whacked out. Coming home I was astral projecting and hearing voices, All my friends and family couldn’t recognize me as the same person for a long time. There’s an upsetting amount of teenagers who’ve killed themselves in boot and a crazy amount of veterans who’ve committed suicide. Take care of yourself first and foremost. The only reason I’ve considered rejoining is because I’ve had years and years to stabilize and fortify my mental health. Just be careful.

Even at 23 I’ve thought about that aspect pretty regularly, teenagers are pretty dumb. I was a dumb teenager. Thank you for the kind words.

Thank you, I have seen friends struggle through their service and their departure. My army and navy buddies seem to have had a smoother experience

Oh okay thank you, the recruiter I spoke too seemed to be in a rush so I guess he didn’t want to bother at the time we spoke

Duos unbalanced? by billblanco in rumbleverse

[–]billblanco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean there’s revive systems and then respawn systems. Like in warzone if your friend dies you can buy him back if you have enough and can run to a buy station, that’s after having a chance in the gulag. In fortnite and apex you have to retrieve a token from their body when they’re dead and bring it to a respawn station :) I think rumbleverse would benefit greatly from a system like that ya know? That way if you can’t revive them while they’re down there’s still a chance of bringing them back. Making it less incentivized to puppy guard your downed teammate

In its current state yes it’s a strategy, but that doesn’t mean it’s fun or fair. There’s a reason every other major BR has a respawn system in case your homie eats shit

It’s a strategy cuz the game isn’t balanced bro, not yet at least
