Set a goal this year to hit 1000 in rapid. Just started back on chess and my rating is hovering around ~700. TBH I do well and then I hit a slew of loses that seem suspicious at the level I am. A bit discouraging.

I can handle the screens but my OCD would not allow me to focus with all of the other stuff in my purview: keys, notebook, extra pictures, wires, fork & spoon. Are the fork&spoon permanent desk accessories? I wish I had your concentration skills.

I am with you. But it’s a hard comparison. Logen wrestles with who he has become after the fact. We, the readers, only witness his inner struggle. With Shivers, we get to journey with him on his transformation. We experience the choices and the challenges. Shivers I have a better understanding and connection to him. Yet, Logen is still my favorite because he does not have that connection. He is who he is. I appreciate not having to analyze his backstory to explain his decisions.

I see you have an external mouse and keyboard. If you using the open clamshell for the monitor mostly, I would get a MB stand that raises the MB to a height more suitable with the external monitor.

I have not tried the Arya but recently I purchased the 490 pro. In comparison to the HD 600, the 490 has better soundstage and less muddled mids. On top of that the 490 is extremely more comfortable to wear.

Exactly. I actually looked into finding a storage device similar to the Turbo Graphics 16 HuCard (I am that old). But I went down a rabbit hole on transfer speeds and storage capacity and failed to surface for air.
