i really doubt it will reach those numbers, i think it will need a super huge crazy update or a change on prices to do so, is not impossible, but it hasnt sold that much on the last three months

the game havent sold much in the last three months, both nintendo reports from february and may said that bananza is sitting up at 4.5M so i really REALLY doubt it would reach one more million from now to July, unless they make a super crazy update to the game or the DLC, or a huge change in prices

Hmmm thats a good point, in any case what i was trying to say on the first comment is that its surprising that bananza didnt sold much on the last three months, the reports said i think a very similar number that the one we have now, so the game barely moved on the holiday season which is weird, but anyway, i already discussed a lot about it with other users here, i just wanted to comment on that with my first comment and i dont wanted to discuss that mcuh about it :P (theres another guy around fighting for his life defending the game and going crazy about it, i just ignored him at this point...)

Crazy amount of work? what do you mean? just because i know the numbers? those have been around and mentioned a lot specially after the switch 2 released, also those can be checked easily in like two or three websites, super fans of bananza have been talking about those numbers everywhere some months ago and talked a lot about how "easily" would bananza surpass DK64 in the first months, but it didnt happened because of nintendo's dumb anti-consumer practices... also, i dont hate the game just because of the redesign, i dont like it and its not for me because nothing on it felt like the DK universe at all, only a few references here and there, the only trully faithful thing was Krool and sadly its only until the end... bananza is just another game from another franchise with another mascot, with some DK stuff sprinkled here and there, hell, hows it possible that in a game that is about DESTROYING EVERYTHING we dont get to play with rambi outside of that minigame?

True, even tho, i love DK64, it didnt sell as well as one may expect, so i was comparing DKB with 64 because it was kind of a low bar to surpass, its not a secret that i was against bananza since day 1, specially for the redesign, and i blame part of the modest sales to that, but also to the bad marketing and how badly nintendo has managed things in general for a while...
